Guest sweing teacher Jenny Akridge teaches this monthly sewing club. We will focus on a new skill set and project each session. At the end of the three hours, you will not only leave with mad skills, a re-useable pattern and directions but a cool finished project and the knowledge you need to adapt other items. (along with a bonus project to do on your own)
Our goal is to creatively upcycle and recycle to keep our club as green as possible. This will not only keep costs low, but will show you some great uses for old/vintage fabrics and even those old sweaters and jeans in the back of your closets.
The cost is $15 and includes all the necessary supplies, For an additional $8-$10 you can order dinner and beverages.
Guest craft teacher Linda Ross teaches this monthly card club. A finished sample and the supplies for each card will be organized on each table, and participants can rotate through each 'station' to complete their set of cards. This is a super fun way to unwind after work and meet some great friends while adding to your card 'stash' and learn some great techniques.
The cost is $20 and includes all the necessary supplies, dinner and beverages.
Calling all knitters, crocheters, spinners, tatters, needle pointers, embroiderers, and other fiber freaks. Come on downtown once a month (on the second Friday of each month) to meet with others in a casual, fun space. You can bring a project you are working on, and we will also have occasional featured projects, yarn swaps, yarn bombings, demos, pattern shares, etc. Space is limited, so please RSVP.
Bring your own dinner (and a bottle of wine, etc. if you want) or you may purchase dinner/beverage here on site for $10. Please note on your RSVP if you would like to reserve dinner.
